Here's Spitzi enjoying the sun.... having a little afternoon nap!

Spitzi and Franklin share a bed

Spitzi and Franklin sharing a bed. Poor Spitzi thought she was in trouble. Franklin was the one who was the culprit, as usual, but poor Spitzi thought it was her. She ran over to him and dropped down right with him. She may have been protecting him for all we know! :) They're such a funny pair!

Spitzi getting excited to go outside + potty before dinner (Video)!

She can't get enough love sometimes. She's very gentle with kids.

Getting more pets!

Spitzi would like to be included in the games too! She enjoys the challenge!

Spitzi loves to get her belly rubbed and snuggle up!

Franklin And Spitzi on vacation! Check out their nice kennel digs at Kate Crawford's !!!

Aren't you coming to bed? We're tired!

Taking some time to cool off from the hot summer sun!

Here is Spitzi with her foster brothers waiting patiently for their dinner.

Camo Spitzi! She likes to hang out and relax...

A Little about this Darling Hound !!

Spitzi (or "Spitzi-Girl") is an amazing hound! She's just independent enough, and loves to play too when the time is right. She loves when guests come to visit. Her personality has really come out since we've fostered her -- and she's just an absolute doll! She enjoys affection, but will walk away and lie down when she's had enough. :) She's really a jumping bean when she is about to get fed or take a walk. She springs right up off of the ground -- she has so much spunk you would never know she is 6! She will lie down on command. She knows the word "STAY" and will on command.... both for treats and for her dinner... and will release only after you say "OKAY". She's great on a leash. She gets along with cats, with kids and with small dogs (and big ones too!). We have not had any problems with her in our home, and she enjoys hanging out with her foster brothers (2 large male greyhounds!) and chasing toys (rope bones are one of her favorites!). When she runs she is quick, so when you're out walking you always keep that leash tight around your wrist! She would be a fantastic family dog (she plays as one with us right now!). She would love to live with another dog as a companion. She really enjoys the company!
